Established by the Africa Conservation Fund, Wildlife Direct uses innovative internet-based fund-raising tequniques to secure new sources of funding for conservation projects all over Africa. Wildlife Direct provides internet blog's for field projects where conservationists can talk about their work on a daily basis, publicise their aims and fundraise to a community of interested readers. Each blog is directly linked to a donations page so that readers can directly support field conservation work (with 100% of the money raised going directly to field projects). We are currently travelling through Africa, visiting some of these projects, to introduce them to this new technique, start new blogs, offer advice and write about our own experiences concerning these fantastic projects. |
